LERETA, LLC Looking for Operations Accounting Supervisor at Pomona, CA Full Time

The Operations Accounting Supervisor applies LERETA LLC accounting policies and procedures and provides accounting leadership to the Outsource and TDT divisions. The position demonstrates a general understanding of the core business requirements related to real estate tax payments ensuring accounting requests from Operations are completed timely and accurately. The Operations Accounting Supervisor monitors tax payment cash controls, trains staff, and provides daily guidance to the Operations Accounting staff.

Job Responsibilities

• Reviews and approves journal entries, cash receipts, tax payments A/P voucher packages
• Reviews and assists in reconciliation of all tax payment bank accounts and GL balances for completeness during monthly closing process including bank account reconciliations
• Monitors the completion of all departmental schedules and reconciliations, ensuring that all stale outstanding items are resolved and/or researched timely
• Performs trend analysis of departmental operational metrics
• Ensures all tax payment cash control reports are updated daily
• Ensures proper maintenance of weekly and monthly tax payment volume
• Ensures Operations Accounting staff is posting tax payment funds timely
• Reviews Operations Accounting workflows and makes recommendations for automation or streamlining processes
• Fulfills periodic requests for auditor requests, etc.
• Performs ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects, as required
• This position has supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years accounting experience
• 2+ years Real Estate Tax Service/Outsource knowledge
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience with MAS 200
