Job Description:

Lee and Associates is growing and looking for a Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant position is a full-service role that will be responsible for all aspects of the accounting cycle, including financial reporting and analysis, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliations, and cash management.
This position is on-site with opportunity to be hybrid after proven success
Job Responsibilities:

• Prepares consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from other departments
• Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and analyzing financial information detailing assets, liabilities,capital, income & expenses
• Provides accounting support for mergers and acquisitions by reviewing financial information; converting data to generalledger systems; obtaining supplementary information for preparing financial statements
• Communicates with both internal and external customers and satisfies their requests for information
• Collaborate with department heads and managers to prepare the annual budget
• Produce annual operating expense reconciliation in accordance with lease terms
• Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports
• Ensures that all deadlines are met in accordance with the closing dates set by management
• Protects organization†s value by keeping information confidential
