Looking for a Accountant who is a QuickBooks Guru and can start ASAP!
4-6-month contract
Could grow into a POSSIBLE permanent role and growth, as we search for our Assistant Controller!
Day to Day:
- Assists with the preparation of post-closing financial reports.
- Full charge accounting and bookkeeping: Posts and processes journal entries into correct classifications between corporate and individual P&L and balance sheets in alignment with Company best practices.
- Reconciles and posts daily bank and credit card accounts.
- Reconciles daily cash collections between billing system and bank statements.
- Reviews posted general ledger account activity and investigate variances.
- Intercompany posting; chargebacks
- Reviews and processes sales tax reconciliation and files monthly sales tax returns with multiple states. Registers with state agencies, as needed.
- Assists with monthly balance sheet and income statement analysis of changes from prior periods.
- Reports sales and use tax as appropriate.
Must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 3 years full-cycle accounting
- QuickBooks
