This local, well known electrical distributor is looking to add a Senior Accountant to its Seattle office. The ideal candidate will have five+ years of accounting experience and bring a high level of passion to an established team. If you have a keen eye for process improvements and want to work in an environment that encourages collaboration, this role is one you should explore.
In this Senior Accountant role you will be an integral part of the accounting team and impact multiple store locations throughout WA state. This is a Direct- Hire role & currently offers a hybrid option.
In this Senior Accountant role, you will:
- Support the the daily operations of the accounting team and report directly to the Controller.
- Review, analyze and post corporate financial data to the general ledger.
- Perform weekly, monthly & quarterly account reconciliations,
- Prepare journal entries and identify opportunities for process improvements that increase department efficiencies.
- Set up new accounts and maintain accounting records.
- Operate in an environment where collaborating is expected and prioritizing tasks is paramount.
- Take ownership and lead department projects – ensure they are completed in a timely manner
Senior Accountant Requirements:
- 5+ years of of accounting experience as a Staff or Senior accountant.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to work independently and enjoy collaborating with others
- Proficient in Excel and QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Pay: $85-94K DOE
