We are looking for an experienced Finance Director or Controller who can lead a fast growing wellness startup in Los Angeles!
Location: Remote (must live in Los Angeles and be willing to come into office on an as needed basis)
Description:
- Financial management and analytical skills; spotting opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Advanced accounting experience.
- Advanced payroll experience with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Advanced financial knowledge and strategic thinker.
- Expertise in managing accounts payable, invoices, purchase orders, employee expense procedures and payroll budgets.
- Experienced in managing accounting staff members to ensure accurate, timely and informative output.
- Provides timely and relevant financial analysis to the executive team driving profitability and growth.
- Financial forecasting and cash flow reporting.
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Excel and reporting tools.
Requirements:
- BA in Accounting or Finance
- 7+ years of hands-on accounting managerial experience.
- Experience managing and leading a team
- CPA certification is strongly preferred
- Live in the Los Angeles area
