Job Summary
Oversees the daily revenue management of assigned hotel region.
Prerequisites
Company associates have access to guestrooms and property. As such, character traits of honesty and trustworthiness are essential to this position and must be displayed at all times. Per company policy, potential associates must pass appropriate security clearances.
Prior hotel experience required
Minimum 2 years of revenue management experience preferred.
Associates or bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge:
Knowledge of revenue management concepts, tactics and processes
Practical knowledge of LBA rules, policies, and procedures
Skills:
Effective communication skills, written and verbal, including group presentations.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent deductive and inductive reasoning.
Strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated organizational skills to appropriately prioritize tasks
Basic computer knowledge. Hilton and Marriott Revenue Management Systems, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook experience strongly preferred. IHG and Hyatt Revenue Management System experience preferred.

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with property GM & DOS; Regional Team, fellow Revenue Management Team Members and Corporate Staff; Brand Representatives and Support; Key Ownership Contacts.

Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
Ability to take initiative towards learning new tools/processes and implement them across multiple properties.
Specific Responsibilities
1.Regulate rate and inventory controls in the Brand specific systems for all the assigned hotels.
2.Develop and implement strategies that will increase the hotel’s RevPAR and/or performance against the competitive set
3.Monitor competitive set pricing and understand the dynamics of the local market and demand generators. This includes periodic property visits, market tours and in-person meetings with the GM & Director of Sales
4.Assist with monthly forecasts and annual revenue budgets
5.Lead weekly strategy meetings with property and above property personal as required
6.Weekly and monthly analysis of the STAR report including collecting and reviewing weekly STAR Recap Reports
7.Work closely with the hotel GM, Director of Sales and Regional Director of Sales to ensure maximization of group and LNR rates
8.Monitor all high demand and special event dates to ensure maximum revenue potential is obtained
9.Analyze reports and available information to make long-term pricing recommendations
10.Utilize brand revenue management systems and tools to ensure that revenue and profit are maximized
11.Effectively communicate specific revenue management philosophies to the property staff, and be able to demonstrate and convince them of the most effective course of action
12.Participate in webinars and face-to-face meetings and presentations to properties, regional and corporate, and ownership on a regular basis.
Working Conditions/Special Requirements
Night and weekend work may be required to meet specific deadlines and commitments
Periodic overnight travel required
May be required to work more than 40 hours per week on a consistent basis
