About the Position
This position provides financial, market and business planning for the Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC), including higher level analysis for growth and productivity. The Lane County FQHC is comprised of the Community Health Centers, Behavioral Health and Public Health divisions of the Department of Health and Human Services. Duties include, but are not limited to: manage and provide fiscal leadership, development, administration and coordination of multiple, distinct financial functions including clinical billing (revenue cycle); manage and oversee staff work regarding priorities, direction and evaluation; develop and administer budget; determine program priorities and utilization of resources to carry out goals and objectives mandated by law and priorities determined by higher level management; prepare financial statements and productivity s. This position focuses on healthcare revenue cycle management. Lane County is seeking a candidate with experience in the financial processes that allow for successful management of the administrative and clinical functions associated with claims processing, payment, and revenue generation. Health and Human is committed to prioritizing patient access. The successful candidate will share this value and have experience in creating an aligned revenue cycle program. Key processes within the scope of this role will consist of identifying, managing, and collecting patient service revenue.
This is the management level within the program series. Incumbents have responsibility for developing and implementing programs and services; developing program policies and procedures; and ensuring program compliance with laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Incumbents serve as a liaison and resource for collaboration and coordination of services; evaluate programs for quality assurance; and develop improvements and enhanced methods for delivery of services. Incumbents typically have formal supervisory responsibility of staff or may manage a program and its services without direct supervision of regular County staff.
About the Division
Lane County Health and Human Services Administration and Support Services includes department support services and some direct services. This program is responsible for negotiating and monitoring H&HS subcontracted services, and H&HS fiscal and evaluation services.
Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00p, with the option of telework.
