Lamarco is seeking an Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk to join the team. An ideal candidate will possess knowledge of basic accounting principles and has previous experience using accounting software.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process and classify financial transactions and records using QuickBooks
- Process and pay bills/invoices
- Generate customer invoices and record customer payments
- Prepare invoices for recurring service contracts
- Audit and reconcile Accounts Receivable data (Ex: reconcile and collect outstanding customer balances)
- Update and reconcile customer information and data using QuickBooks and company’s project management database
- Other tasks as assigned by experience/skills
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Eligibility for a PERC card from the State of Illinois
Job Type/Schedule:
- Option for part-time or full-time
- Flexible M-F schedule if part-time
