Job Description:
The Director of Finance is responsible for the financial guidance, strategy, forecasting, and business management for the L3Harris IT Organization. The incumbent should have a grasp of core financial concepts, including management and financial accounting, cash management, budgeting, and forecasting. This role will serve as the leader of the IT Finance team, and will serve as a strategic partner and advisor within the IT organization.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for influencing day-to-day execution of all financial activity related to the IT organization, including the development of strategies and action plans necessary to achieve financial goals and targets
Lead the development and presentation of the Monthly Forecast Review (MFR) as well as annual and strategic plans; make recommendations for cost saving opportunities
Responsible for the adherence to and communication of GAAP and SOX policies and procedures
Oversee the IT segment allocation model, and the Forward Pricing Rate Proposal (FPRP) development and submission
Manage cash flow planning, and oversee investments and asset management
Maintain the financial forecasting system (Hyperion Planning)
Support L3Harris operational excellence (e3) initiatives, and implement process improvements regarding financial analysis and financial reporting
Lead, coach, and mentor direct reports

Planning, organizational, and analytical skills
Experience with cost/schedule development, budgeting, Customer/Management reporting, and forecasting
Project Management
Oral and written communication, analytics, and problem solving
Process improvement oriented; ability to identify and implement improvement ideas
PeopleSoft, Ariba, Hyperion, and Tableau platforms; Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
