We are looking for someone that would enjoy learning more about the construction industry and products and is looking to grow with the position.
Must be very detail oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to multi-task.
We like to see proficiency in all areas including accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciling receiving, job costing, product ordering, invoicing, working with contract labor, and assisting management as needed.
This position requires someone who likes to be involved in and aware of all phases of the accounting process, from bidding jobs, to invoicing clients, to job completion, and is capable of overseeing and training several employees.
This job will grow into a management position for the right person.
Applicants should have the following skills:
10 key by touch Experience with Excel, Microsoft programs, and accounting software – Sage knowledge a plus Self-motivation to complete work without being micromanaged.
Excellent math skills Ability to work in a team environment.
Able to prioritize tasks in order of importance.
Ability to train and oversee several employees Construction field experience a plus Willingness to jump in and help with solutions when problems arise Accounting degree and several years of job experience Professional appearance and phone manner Good language skills with the ability to properly compose and format correspondence.
