Overview :
$17.36 – $20.07 / per hour
The Marketing Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support that includes but is not limited to : the organization, communication and assistance around media / charitable requests and tickets, monitoring social media content creation inside and outside the organization, supporting on-site coordination, hosting and logistics for Brand Marketing & Communications special events, promotions, media and influencer visits, digital content photo / video shoots and other department needs
Rate offered will be based on experience.
Responsibilities :
Facilitates the timely management of the PR email inbox, responding to media, charitable and influence request and facilitating the needs for those approved.
Monitors social media content created by external ambassadors and influencers, keeping organized accounts by individuals and their respective content to allow effective team selection of future influencer participation
Assists with consumer, media, associate charitable event preparations as directed by the Brand Marketing or Communications team;
including coordination with teams inside the park to facilitate event logistics, day of setup, ordering supplies, requesting signage and equipment while staying within an assigned budget
Attends and assists in the execution of consumer, media, associate charitable events. This includes day-of event setup, facilitating event-specific programing for guests and serving as a point-of-contact for external partners and participants
Creates communication materials for use in planning (PowerPoint presentations), media / influence relation pitching (graphic / pitch sheets), promotions (PowerPoint presentations, one-page promotional outlines), social media platforms, website, and other digital marketing channels (graphics, draft copywriting / post or web copy) as directed
Assists in park asset organization, photos and videos as directed, promotion / in-park signage execution
Perform other duties as assigned or required
Qualifications :
College preferred, but not required.
Effective written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Proficient in Windows : Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
