Quality Manager, NA PPE KCP Job Description Quality Manager, NA PPE KC-P will provide people & functional leadership, support, and serve as SME on PPE Business Categories.
Position is responsible for delivering all aspects of the Quality Operations, Quality Assurance and Quality Control in line with Quality Management System and Quality Policy to ensure products and services are fit for purpose and meet customer expectations.
The position reports to Quality Director, Global KC-P.
The position is required to manage a broad and complex product portfolio, manufactured by both internal facilities and external contract manufacturers, requiring compliance to multiple quality, regulatory and other customer requirements across multiple countries.
Scope of position involves activities related to New Product Introduction (innovation) and management of existing products (renovation).
These activities include but are not limited to development of the risk management plan; support design changes, product enhancements, material changes, and process changes; investigation of non-conformances; ensure compliance to quality system requirements; and support the qualification of new suppliers.
Professional in this role will also be responsible for establishing business relationships, from a quality functional standpoint; with vendors, stakeholders, and partners to enable growth, innovation, and sustainment of various businesses.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Translate overall vision and values to NA PPE Quality Operations team; establish objectives to align with KCPs vision and accomplish functional goals.
Determine and implement best strategic direction for NA PPE Quality Operations team regarding organization, competencies, human and fiscal resource planning, and quality planning.
Provide subject matter expertise in Quality Operations, Process Validation, Statistical Methods, Design Control, and Risk Management.
Develop new approaches to solve problems identified during Quality Engineering activities and be accountable in applying Product Quality Process techniques to process improvement.
Demonstrate a commitment to quality performance through personal example by adopting a customer- based philosophy in the level of service provided.
Lead and coordinate Quality Review Board (QRB) situations at KCP for quality and regulatory compliance-related issues.
Lead and coordinate problem solving situations at KCP and/or with suppliers on KCP change management issues.
Provide advice and counsel to KCP R&E groups and mills on change management procedures and process improvements for regulatory compliance purposes.
Identify process and system bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis, and implement process improvements and digital solutions across the organization by applying Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies/DMAIC process.
Build and maintain strong relationships across key KC functional areas (e.
g.
, Customer Service, Research and Engineering, Regulatory, Marketing, etc.
) as well as across Kimberly Clark businesses (e.
g.
, Consumer, etc.
) to foster sharing of information, swiping of best practices, and increasing KCP expertise to support overall customer satisfactions and regulatory compliance.

Report on achievement of targets and identify any actions required.
Build Process Excellence mindset in team members.
Clarify role and appoint responsibilities of each member in the team.
