Kforce’s growing, privately held Technology company is seeking a VP of Finance. This is a fully remote role (we prefer candidates who live in the east coast time zone).Summary:The VP of Finance will be responsible for ensuring the financial health of the business at the highest level. You will partner with the COO to drive capital planning, strategic finance, tax efficiency and more.Key Tasks:
VP of Finance will lead all tax planning, looking several years ahead to ensure most efficient and lowest effective tax rate and considering the international implications of our business
Develop and implement a strategic finance function, including leading effective budgeting processes, building financial models and a robust reporting suite, identifying expense efficiencies and possibly revenue opportunities
Ensure compliance with company & board policies, generally accepted accounting practices, and appropriate laws and ethics as it relates to accounting, tax exemptions, insurance, claims, and risk management, purchasing, and electronic data processing
As a VP of Finance, you will oversee financial operations, including leading & developing a lean finance team, based in the UK
Support COO/CFO in capital planning activities, which may include fundraising, exit planning and investor relations

12 years of related experience, most recently as a CFO, VP Finance
CPA or equivalent qualification
Recent experience with fundraising, investor relations and/or exiting a business
Experience with the complexities associated with a global business (entities in the US and UK)
Proven track record of success in providing value to senior leadership team through financial reporting
Solid understanding of the challenges in scaling a technology business relative to finance functions
Solid understanding of business drivers, working with product & marketing heads to set ambitious and achievable goals
Strong financial modeling skills
Ability to interpret legal documentation & agreements
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
