KeyStar Corp (), a Nevada corporation d/b/a ZenSports, owns and operates the mobile sports betting platform for consumers that offers a traditional sports book, peer-to-peer sports betting marketplace, and wagering in both fiat and cryptocurrencies.
Sports betting is one of the fastest growing industries in the United States – in just 5 years since the repeal of PASPA by the Supreme Court, 38 states plus the District of Columbia have legalized sports betting. Over $93.2 billion was legally wagered on sports in the U.S. in 2022, and over $7.5 billion in revenue was generated by U.S. sports betting operators in 2022.
ZenSports received its sports betting license in the state of Tennessee on May 24, 2023, and launched in Tennessee on June 7, 2023. Tennessee is processing $392.7M in sports betting handle and generating over $45.5M in revenue per month, consistently ranking Tennessee in the top 10 out of 38 states with legalized sports betting. ZenSports has plans for growing and expanding into several more jurisdictions in the coming months.
What we’re looking for:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chief Financial Officer with a strong background in financial leadership roles within small public companies. The ideal candidate will exhibit a profound understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities that come with managing the financial operations of emerging public entities, demonstrating adaptability, strategic acumen, and a results-driven approach.
As the CFO of ZenSports, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, SEC reporting, audits, accounting, tax, treasury, and investor relations. Your strategic mindset, leadership skills, and financial expertise will be instrumental in driving ZenSports’ financial health, growth, and overall success.
NOTE: ZenSports operates in the highly regulated gaming and sports betting industry. The CFO role is considered a “key person” by all state gaming regulators. As such, you will be required to go through a comprehensive personal financial and background check for every new state/jurisdiction that ZenSports enters (including for its existing operations in the state of Tennessee). This background check includes providing personal tax returns, bank statements, credit card statements, statements of net worth, and even every traffic citation you’ve received for the past 20+ years.
