Kevin’s Natural Foods Looking for Sales Manager, HMR/Prepared Foods at Remote Full Time

Summary:

Kevin’s Natural Foods is looking for a passionate Sales Manager with experience selling prepared entrées and/or sides to Meat Departments of conventional supermarkets (subcategory is typically identified as: HMR, Heat & Eat, or Prepared Meals). Kevin’s tireless Sales team has expanded distribution to over 13,000 retail locations in less than 2 years and is growing their sales force to continue to deliver this rapid growth rate while maintaining the first-class customer service the brand has become known for. This is a critical role that will qualify for the company’s generous equity incentive program.

Overview:

Cultivate new and existing relationships with HMR Category Managers/Buyers at conventional supermarkets. This role will involve all aspects of the sales process from initial pitch, to tailoring the product mix/promo plan and, ultimately, managing the account. The ideal candidate understands the category and is able to help Kevin’s customers optimize their product mix to grow sales while offering a healthier product to their customers.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement a Strategic Sales Plan organizing the reviews for each current and prospective customer.
• Travel to prospective customers to lead cuttings and sales presentations.
• Hold regular status calls and face-to-face planning meetings with existing accounts to foster long term relationships and drive organic growth.
• Participate in the planning and monitoring of promotional activity supporting Kevin’s Natural Foods’ programs.
• Engage company’s Marketing team effectively to drive sales and meet velocity objectives.
• Monitor stores to keep a pulse on emerging trends, new products, and competition status.
• Determine and codify sales targets based on the market opportunity and the company’s business objectives.
• Provide sales forecasts regularly.

About You:

• Minimum 5 years experience as a successful sales representative or sales manager in the HMR/Prepared Foods category, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
• Resourceful and driven with a proven track record of performance in a work environment with a high lever of autonomy.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
• Strong business sense and industry expertise.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
