The firm is seeking a corporate financial reporting analyst to join its finance and accounting team. Reporting to the global head of financial reporting and analysis (FP&A) and this position will participate in a wide array of firmwide financial reporting and budgeting activities, including monthly financial reporting, the annual budget process, projection development, variance analysis, and the implementation of process improvements. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with a solid understanding of basic financial principles. A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and a minimum GPA of 3.0 is required. This is a remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly utilization reports, measuring productivity of revenue facing practices.
- Preparation of selected month end close journal entries.
- Prepare and distribute month end flash reporting for COO/CFO.
- Prepare and distribute monthly corporate function income statements, including actual, budget, and prior year.
- Prepare and maintain headcount schedules utilized in monthly practice reporting.
- Participate in the preparation of monthly financial reporting packages, including various key performance indicators.
- Prepare annual billing rate increase analysis and supporting schedules.
- Participate in preparation of the annual budgeting tools and analysis.
- Participate in monthly forecasting of the business for projections.
- Participate in preparation for the annual budgeting process.
- Prepare ad hoc analysis reports as requested by Global Head of Financial Reporting & Analysis and COO/CFO.
- Participate in the development of streamlined financial accounting processes, including creation and maintenance of procedure and training manuals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher in major and overall, required
- 1+ year of financial analysis experience
- Proficiency with Excel (v-lookups, h-lookups, pivot tables), Word, and PowerPoint
- Holds oneself to a high-performance standard
- Detail oriented with an emphasis on technical tasks, strong writing and interpersonal skills
- Excellent writing, organizational and communication skills which are effective at all levels
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and consensus- driven environment with highly skilled professionals
