Chase Auto Private Label Captive Finance
Chase Auto is a leading provider of auto financing with a portfolio of more than $80 billion in assets and relationships with 75% of U.S. franchised automotive dealers. The business is part of the JPMorgan Chase franchise and serves auto dealers, consumers, and vehicle manufacturers. It offers a range of products and services to meet the financial needs of its clients from retail lending, captive financing, and floorplan products to cash management, private banking, and payment processing.
The Chase Auto Private Label Captive Finance business has more than 20 years in the captive finance business and is the largest bank-owned private label captive finance provider in the U.S. We serve as the captive finance partner to seven domestic and global auto manufacturers: Subaru, Jaguar Land Rover, Maserati, Aston Martin, McLaren, and EV partners Fisker and Rivian.
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Associate to support the Chase Auto relationship with Rivian and the Rivian Finance private label captive finance group. This role will guide and support the Rivian direct to consumer financing process to ensure a high level of client and customer service.
This position requires strong stakeholder and partner relationships with Auto support teams including Sales, Credit, Booking & Funding, and Title Management. This role will collaborate with internal and external partners to investigate and resolve customer issues throughout the application, e-contracting and servicing processes. This position will also interact with teams throughout the broader JPMorgan Chase organization to execute strategic initiatives and programs, including Finance, Marketing, Data & Analytics, Product, Strategy, Corporate Development, Legal, Controls, Risk, and Compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the consumer financing process to ensure a high level of client and customer service
Support the strategy and execution of programs and initiatives
Track industry movements to stay abreast of trends in product features, pricing, and subvention; recommend changes to programs and initiatives to remain strong in the marketplace
Monitor Electric Vehicle trends and strategies, and monitor the external environment for important industry developments
Support the governance and approval process for new strategies and initiatives, including coordination with cross-function partners including Product, Risk, Legal, Marketing, and Finance
Track and support the cadence of governance meetings, Service Level Agreement monitoring and management, pricing management and protocols, and reporting
Develop and deliver senior-level communications
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required; MBA or graduate degree strongly preferred
3-5 years of relevant experience
Ability to earn respect and trust among internal and external business partners and team members
Proven experience in collaborating across teams and lines of business
A high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and anecdotal feedback to structure complex problems and make decisions
Intellectual curiosity and propensity to learn new subjects quickly
Advanced MS PowerPoint and excel skills, with demonstrated ability to simplify complex subject matter into digestible executive communications
