Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. Job Description:
The Treasury Operations Manager North America reports directly to the Senior Manager Treasury Operations and manages all Treasury aspects of the Regional Treasury Services Center within the Treasury organization. The position provides leadership regarding bank and cash management, credit, debt, and liquidity management activities. Also included is the responsibility for managing cash flow and short‐term forecasting, debt management and directing the investment of the company’s surplus cash in appropriate instruments.
The Manager is also leading the short-term borrowing in the US through the enterprise’s Commercial Paper program and provide management insights regarding cash generation, risk, and cash management initiatives.
Job responsibilities:
Oversee daily cash management and liquidity for the NA affiliates including overseeing the management of the company’s US commercial paper program
Manage key banking relationships to support cash management activities; monitor global trends in cash management and implement changes as needed to existing processes and policies
Evaluate and implement investment and borrowing practices to improve Safety, Liquidity and Yield in NA cash portfolios while maintaining alignment with investment policies and procedures; monitor capital requirements and working capital investments
Work closely with regional business partners to develop key processes to ensure adequate safety, liquidity, and financial controls for cash management and cash flow in support of operating company initiatives
Provide business partnering support to affiliate on foreign currency exposure management practices and provide guidance to improve compliance
Lead education of NA affiliates on exposure management
Prepare and give presentations to operating companies, on various domestic cash management initiatives
Partner with affiliates to address and improve compliance with treasury Worldwide Procedures
Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley compliance program for NA Regional Treasury Services Center (RTSC), liaise with corporate internal audit during engagements
Qualifications
Position Requirements:
Strong Finance acumen
Management experience
Strong analytic skills – Ability to standardize varying data process/inputs
Intellectual agility, curiosity, and creativity
Strong capabilities in MS Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including ability to interact with all levels of management within and outside of Finance
Fluent in English as a minimum
Minimum 5-7 years of experience
Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
Preferred Requirements/Competencies:
Knowledge of cash management, accounting, finance, tax and banking relationships
Experience working with banking products and services
Experience in Treasury Operations
Experience in Treasury Management Systems
