Job Summary:
Under general direction, this position manages a team of higher level individual contributors; This position requires a high level ability to make time-sensitive decisions, manage multiple competing priorities, and work in a fast paced environment. The position requires experience in a finance function and managing a team.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Propose and implement new methods and procedures of finance function to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Provide reporting and effectiveness measures regarding escalation issues resulting in lost revenue or delay in payment (e.g., potentially negative account balances)
Develop and share department goals and job expectations to team members
Develop strategies to strengthen internal customer relationships and internal and/or external suppliers
Manage annual processes including performance reviews and merit recommendations for team members
Network and build relationships with both internal and/or external stakeholders and/or vendors by responding to financial inquiries and complaints and identify root cause and solutions to issues
Onboard new employees, including mentoring and training new people managers
Present weekly/monthly reports to leadership team sharing outcomes and next steps
Supervise all job contributions of teams and ensuring proactive personnel practices
Work with internal teams to improve account profitability
Provide feedback to ensure Stakeholder compliance with contractual requirements and adjust as needed
Strategize with Leadership or other team managers to improve processes, discuss action plans, and/or contractual changes, and achieve organizational/department/team goals and objectives
Assist in the budgeting process include leading budget meetings
Assist with applicable closing, allocation and reporting duties

Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration/Management, Communication, Transportation Logistics, or related field with more than 5 years of experience
Ability to quickly learn a new software system
