PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Month-end: Manage month-end close including preparing accruals & journal entries, managing Accounts Receivable and Cashbook, reviewing team journal entries and reconciliations for accuracy, and preparing financial statements for final review.
Submission of Controller-approved financials to Corporate monthly.
Analyze and report departmental budget vs actual.
Manage financial aspects of the Inventory Cycle count program in accordance with the ITW policy.
Assist in annual physical inventory counts and annual cost roll.
Assist in year-end corporate reporting.
Provide mentorship and coaching to a team of three direct reports.
Participate in cross functional business partnering to drive business efficiencies.
Assist in special projects, reporting, and analysis as needed.
Promote, support, and adhere to all safety, environmental and quality related policies and procedures.
Bachelor of Science in Accounting or equivalent is required.
3 -7 years of Accounting experience including inventory experience.
Strong analytical/problem solving skills. Ability to analyze variances, budget to actuals, trends, Days Outstanding, etc.
Proficient-Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Sum If, etc.)
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines and excel in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in a manufacturing environment highly desirable.
Former people management experience and/or ability to display strong leadership attributes.
Highly proficient in Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
