As the.Corporate*.Human Resources Intern*, you will combine your education with practical HR experience in core HR areas such as employee relations, employee engagement, recruitment & onboarding, and performance management. Assignments may include projects on recruiting, creating training presentations and employee communications, and supporting other functional groups at ITW Corporate.
As the Corporate Human Resources Intern, you will be: + Partnering with the Corporate HR team on a variety of workplace matters (ie Talent, Employee Relations, Diversity, Wellness Program, etc.) + Assisting with onboarding of new employees and make recommendations on the new hire orientation process + Supporting employee engagement initiatives across the campus + Creating communications for the corporate office on HR updates including performance management, on-site trainings & initiatives, and benefits + Assisting the Corporate HR team with the Corporate summer internship program + Participating in the recruitment process of candidates for a variety of job functions at Corporate + Additional duties & projects may be assigned Key Qualifications we’re looking for in this role include: + Pursuing a bachelor’s (rising junior or senior) or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, Economics, or related disciplines + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Leadership and teamwork capabilities required (extracurricular, academic, etc.) + Basic understanding of Human Resources and a desire to pursue a career in HR + Eagerness to learn, demonstrated curiosity and a drive to excel + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
