About the Role
The finance department is seeking a Finance & Accounting Associate to join our fun team! This role will assist with the processing of revenue, including daily transactional and subscriptional billing. You will assist in the daily pricing of all invoices. You will use your excel skills to the fullest! The position requires working with and providing excellent support to internal customers, such as the sales, services, and accounting teams. To excel at this role, you will need analytical skills, critical communication skills, and the ability to analyze and bring forth suggestions to improve processes. About the Day-to-Day Responsibilities of the Role
- Review services to determine completion status and adjust revenue accordingly.
- Resolve any questions about product / billing rates from different teams.
- Assist in any additional projects that might arise.
- Ensure client invoices are being sent in accordance with the contract or based on instructions from the clients.
- Assist in running monthly invoice and revenue reports.
- Uploading invoices to client’s FTP sites and portals on a weekly basis
- Prepare and QA client revenue for monthly submission of invoices and reports to the client.
- Calculate the monthly accrual and deferrals for annually billed customers
- Research and initiate diligence around system improvements.
- Work alongside the continuous improvement team in automating system processes.
Qualifications
About You and How You Can Excel in This Role
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting/Finance
- 1-3 years related work experience
- Basic understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Strong MS Office (Outlook, Teams) and Excel skills (formulas, pivots tables, Vlookups, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with drive for results
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact at all levels of the organization
- Excellent customer service skills and willingness to be a team player
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously, while prioritizing tasks and delivering timely solutions to both internal and external clients
