VP of Global Operations Finance – Chicago, IL

IRI is seeking an VP of Finance to join our Global Operations Finance team in Chicago, IL. The VP of Finance will support all operations activities and own key FP&A functions (e.g., monthly close variance review and analysis, forecast submissions, annual plan, KPI development & tracking, etc). Success in this role requires the ability to communicate financial concepts to business executives in a straightforward, confident manner. Reporting to the SVP Global Finance, this position serves as a trusted adviser to the business to help guide decision making through actionable analysis and Business Partner support to the IRI Business Units Executives.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as primary business partner to the Operations Executive Leadership Team to deliver profitable growth through performance, pricing, investment, and opportunity analytics
Supports key communications and alignments across global commercial and executional teams
Establish and report key operating metrics, evaluating strategic and tactical opportunities across the global operations organization
Lead area-specific long-range plan, budgets, forecasts, and business reviews
Partners with Finance IT on financial systems and reporting design
Drive transformative efforts toward building analytic standards, automation, and efficiency
Experiential Qualifications:
12+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, and/or analytically focused Strategy roles.
Workday Adaptive software experience a Plus.
Highly proficient in Excel (Required).
Experience in the Tech/Software industry (with Recurring Revenues) a Plus.
