Job Overview
The Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team at Intuit is responsible for company-wide financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis. As the central planning group for the entire company, Corporate FP&A plays a unique and critical role in driving business decisions and optimizing financial outcomes. Corporate FP&A determines and communicates financial goals and targets to each of Intuit’s business segments, and then consolidates and monitors financial performance against those goals to ensure Intuit is reaching its objectives. The group is also charged with developing presentations to the CEO, the CFO and the Board of Directors regarding company financial performance.
The Lead Financial Analyst will partner with Revenue FP&A teams across Intuit to develop deeper understanding and insights of Intuit’s businesses. This individual will develop the revenue targets for each of Intuit’s Business Units (e.g., QuickBooks, TurboTax, Credit Karma) for our “3- and 1-year” planning process. They will analyze and deliver insight regarding revenue trends, including the underlying drivers (customers, ARPU, etc.), product offerings, price-volume-mix breakout, and penetration of Total Addressable Market, among others. For monthly meetings with the CFO, this individual will be responsible for gathering, consolidating and explaining variances to plan for the revenue line. In addition, this individual will also work on projects and initiatives across the scope of Corporate FP&A.
This is a newly created position reporting to the Finance Manager, Corporate FP&A. The Lead Financial Analyst role offers significant exposure to leaders and partners across Intuit. The ideal candidate will be an inquisitive self-starter, with a deep understanding of financial theory, proven business acumen, strong analytical and modeling skills and hands-on FP&A experience.
