Strategy Incubator Program
This is a nine month program training individuals in the fundamentals of marketing strategy across all key disciplines including strategic planning, content strategy and customer experience.
Associate Marketing Strategist Job Duties:
The Associate Marketing Strategist is a generalist that masters well-rounded facets of modern marketing strategy including representing the voice of the customer, researching trends, leveraging data and championing best practices in digital communication. The Associate Marketing Strategist is an entry-level position for bright, hungry future strategists to break into a strategic role in an agency.
What does an Associate Marketing Strategist Do?
- Research discovery and analysis from primary and/or secondary sources
- Aggregate and articulate audience insights, channel insights and trends
- Stay abreast of and implement omnichannel and digital customer experience best practices
- Analyze digital user activity and engagement metrics, finding the best ways to leverage and action the data moving forward
- Fulfill digital strategy templates such as tactical inventories, messaging trigger plans and channel opportunity analysis
- Identify informational content that will meet customer needs
- Research and populate audit templates that capture key category and competitor activity
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and client support teams
- Help keep all client work smart, on strategy and in line with the principal of right audience, right message, right moment
The Associate Marketing Strategist Role Requires:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education plus professional experience required
- Interest in omnichannel and digital marketing
- Interest in medical and healthcare communication
- Innate curiosity and aptitude to learn about marketing, brands, advertising, communications, culture, people, etc.
- A burning desire to dig into what motivates customers and how to impact behavior
- Passionate about data and data-driven decision making
- Looking to be on the leading edge of communication innovation
- Experience with communication technology or channels, such as cloud platforms, social media, search or media buying is a plus
- One to three years of advertising experience is a plus
- One to three years of pharmaceutical or healthcare experience is a plus
- Experience with diverse communities is a plus
