Job Title: Finance Manager
Job Summary:
The Finance Manager partners with leadership in developing financial analysis and reporting that aids in effective planning and performance evaluation of the Operations Teams. This role is designed to formulate financial reports for the purpose of providing and advising on operational decisions and increasing overall P&L health of the Operations Team. The Finance Manager will work closely with the executive leadership team, client relations and the high level of operations leaders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· In this wide-ranging role, the Finance Manager provides guidance to the front-line management team while training, coaching, developing and mentoring operations managers
· Coordinates the quarterly close process to compile P&L information and develop variance analysis of projections versus planned results
· Weekly and monthly analysis of travel, labor and overhead cost spend and productivity, including the identification of underperforming team members and locations
· Root cause analysis of revenue, operating costs and projected performance
· Ensure the completeness and integrity of all financial reports and internal control requirements are met
· Partners with operations teams to drive the growth of profitable accounts and lessen the loss of non-profitable accounts through productivity and revenue growth
· Oversees compliance with contract results, aid in monitoring critical metric maximization and participate in contract performance reviews
· Supports Client Relations with preparing quarterly business reviews and budget presentations
· Trains operations managers on the use of financial reporting systems and how field decisions impact portfolio financial performance
· Understands and interprets financial reports
· Participates in new business and client retention efforts through analytical support and development
· Coordinate the monthly projection process by supporting operations managers and analyzing financial trends
· Oversees overtime reports and communicates immediate need for budget adjustments; escalates to proper channels
· Assists in coordinating the field spending planning process, which includes setting targets, analysis of monthly spends by individual and portfolio; creates internal budget presentations
· Lead analysis and responses to client financial inquiries of their contract(s)
· Actively involved with accounts receivable collections, inventory management and capital expenditure controls
· Assists when needed with internal audit support and government audits
· Tracks and reports on all modifications of company policies and procedures
· Develops ad hoc reports for senior management
· Provides information for historical, current and future financial and statistical data
· Performs assigned special projects and analysis as needed by senior management
· Leverage existing technology to track, share and record important data
· Create proactive alerts for both field and Home Office leadership teams for declining/failing client profitability ;Support action plans for needed resolutions
· Properly escalate issues that could impact local or national perceptions of Interstate as a preferred facility services provider
· Be a steward of Company assets including travel and other routine business expenses
· Effectively address all client and employee related communications in real time with a sense of urgency (emails, phone calls, requests)
· Drive and promote a strong culture of client relations and satisfaction; reinforce both Interstate’s and client’s performance expectations
· Understand, comply with and be a champion of Interstate’s policies and procedures
· Additional duties as defined
Qualifications:
· Strong familiarity with organizations whose workforce is primarily comprised of hourly associates.
· Experience supporting both office and field teams.
