Job Description
Job Overview : The Finance Manager has primary responsibility for collecting and processing financial data to provide management, donors, and others with timely and accurate financial information.
This individual prepares budgets, donor reports and overall accounting for the TXOR West office, as well as financial oversight of the sub-award life cycle for TXOR West partners.
Major Responsibilities :
General Accounting and Financial Management
Sub-Awardee Finance Management
Review and validate spending plans from partners against reported expenditures, following-up with sub-awardees as needed.
Ensure sub-awardee financial reports are approved (signed) by the appropriate authority within IRC.
Coordinate with TXOR West staff to ensure items for review for monitoring visit plans are shared for communication to sub-awardees prior to the visit.

Job Requirements :
Education : 4-year college degree in relevant field required. Degree in related field such as Finance, Accounting, Business Administration Graduate degree preferred.
Work Experience : Minimum of 5 years of non-profit finance / accounting experience required. Experience with federal (preferably ORR) grants preferred.
Language Skills : Fluency in written and spoken English

Working Environment :
Standard work environment. Expectation to travel within local community for partner meetings and events. Oversight of staff in remote field sites.
Expectation to occasionally travel and participate in meetings throughout the West Texas region and / or statewide.
Compensation : Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget.
