Staffing Coordinator (CSR) starting at $17 an hour
Interim Healthcare is looking for a FT Staffing Coordinator for our Private Duty Department. This position is responsible for taking referral calls, job orders and scheduling in-home and facility care. Must have prior scheduling/staffing or other healthcare related experience in an office environment.
This position will be based in our Overland Park office and will work Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.Â You will get paid holidays, paid time off, benefits and the opportunity to work with a great team!
The Staffing Coordinator will work independently and with other co-workers to staff multiple facilities with health care staffing personnel. To support the common goals of the office as it relates to the management of the day-to-day office operations and assisting with the scheduling of qualified staff for facilities and assisting with employee recruitment strategies.
Staffing Coordinator Essential Functions:
Â Â Builds relationships with clients and field staff.
Â Â Actively manages available field staff to maximize hours worked per FTE.
Â Â Communicates with multiple customers to determine staffing needs and arranges/coordinates the requests.
Â Â Performs all office functions in compliance with federal, state, local laws and all policies, procedures, and standards of Interim Healthcare Staffing Office.Â Assists in payroll and billing functions as needed.
Â Â Communicates appropriately among the Interim customers, other Interim employees, affiliated vendors and corporate departments.
Â Â Completes documentation accurately, legibly, and timely for office processes.
Â Â Maintains knowledge of current regulations for healthcare staffing.
Â Â Follows policy and procedures as directed.
Â Â Brings concerns forward appropriately to supervisor.
Â Â Promotes an environment of high morale and teamwork.
Â Â Works with supervisor and other team members towards office and business goals.
Â Â Takes appropriate and timely measures to meet the needs of the customer and employees.
Â Â Maintains mature problem solving approach under stressful circumstances.
Â Â Assists in development of recruitment strategies.
Â Â Works to meet set financial goals of office for sales growth and diversity of business.
Â Â Follows pay and bill structures set by office. Gets appropriate approval for overtime, rewards or motivators for field staff, from supervisor.
Â Â Completes other assignments as requested and assigned.Â

Staffing Coordinator Education & Experience Requirements:
Â Â H.S. diploma or GED
Â Â Two-year Degree or equivalent years in training or work experience.
Â Â One (1) Year of staffing/scheduling experience.
Staffing Coordinator Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: Â
Â Â Excellent communication skills.
Â Â Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities.
Â Â Proficient in Windows, Word and Excel.
Â Â Proven ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Staffing Coordinator Working Conditions & Physical Effort: Â
Â Â Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
Â Â Physical activity is sedentary and may occasionally require lifting or carrying up to 10 lbs.
Â Â May involve occasional visits to clients or prospects.
Â Â Ability to travel as needed.
