Job Description:

• Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of patients in facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers and/or group homes
• Work with facility nurses, Med Aides, CNAs and caregivers to deliver excellent patient care
• Help with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and nutritional intake
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises as needed
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, and document changes as needed
• Observe patient and notify facility DON/supervisor/charge nurse of issues requiring a change in care, medication or equipment
• Ability to provide quality care for multiple residents/patients throughout shift(s)
• Possess your valid, unexpired CNA certification with the state of South Dakota (or ability to transfer your license to South Dakota)
• Willingness to travel to area facilities may be necessary

Experience:

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant within South Dakota, or ability to apply for reciprocity/endorsement
