POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the application of accounting principles, and procedures to a variety of accounting issues and transactions in order to analyze financial information, ensure appropriate accounting application, provide accounting documentation and perform technical accounting research. This position will also take the lead in treasury administration and accounting and be a liaison for the annual financial audit.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Prepare daily cash summary and communicate cash activity and balances to management as well as administer bank portals.
• Maintain banking relationships, administer banking portals, and assist in opening/closing bank accounts as needed.
• Prepare and coordinate quarterly cash forecast.
• Develop and maintain cash matrix and dashboard.
• Prepare and post journal entries utilizing data in financial systems and other sources of information.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations and fluctuation analysis.
• Assist with the accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close.
• Assist with preparation of and timely reporting of ad hoc reporting requirements; including management, tax, investor, banker and acquisition reporting requests.
• Participate in the maintenance, improvement, and documentation of internal policies.
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
• Provide data to internal customers, management and auditors.
• Prepare financial audit requests and assists with the review and coordination of the audit process.
• Draft technical memos to document the Company’s accounting conclusions regarding accounting issues or the application of new accounting standards.
• Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards.
• Support various information systems development, conversion and implementation tasks.
• Lead subtasks of ad hoc projects for cross-functional teams.
• Other ad hoc projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from four-year college or university
• 4-5 years of accounting experience (including both public and private)
• Certified public accountant preferred
• International Treasury Experience Preferred
• Experience with Microsoft AX 2012 preferred
• Experience with financial report building software preferred
• Experience with BlackLine account reconciliation tool preferred
• Highly proficient in MS Software application, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
