Provide expertise and consultation to HR Business Partners on job leveling, evaluation, market pricing, internal equity, and competitive pay analysis.

Q3, 2022 Focus: Integration
Evaluate 40 open roles and harmonize to company roles. Review Matrox job descriptions, supplemented by interviewing Matrox HR, to understand responsibilities and level/scope of impact. Make preliminary harmonization recommendations for HRBPs to review in partnership with the business leaders.
Continue to recognize software engineering specialties (i.e., machine visioning) and bolster the company job library by creating new job codes and titles in Oracle HCM.
Partner with HRBPs across company Nation to identify current companies who are performing newly created roles and re-align them to more appropriate job codes and titles. Analyze costing impact and ensure HRBP secures business and budget approval, prior to employee job realignment.
Author job and pay education and support change management efforts for Matrox people managers. At the company, people managers own both level and pay decision for direct reports; recognize this talent strategy is new for Matrox people managers so will require sensitivity, multiple touch points and reinforcement.

Q4, 2022 Focus: Annual Rewards Process Preparatory
Partner with HRIS to audit Matrox employees and pay data; ensure data integrity by confirming on multiple occurrences, reconcile any discrepancies and escalate as appropriate.
Review job and pay effective dates to ensure accuracy of ZIP and SIP calculations with prorations.
Obtain eligible earnings data for ZIP calculation, model scenarios for validation.
Confirm base pay accuracy for merit calculation.
Audit employee data in rewards worksheets prior to annual process launch.
Author and deliver annual rewards process education and training for Matrox people managers and aligned HRBPs, including pay for performance. Preview company compensation statements and facilitating employee rewards conversations.
Partner with Matrox aligned HRBPs to support delivery against company Nation timeline; make recommendations for interim deadlines; build in additional timeline grace in recognition of newness for Matrox people managers.
Encourage Matrox aligned HRBPs to begin to facilitate pay decision discussions with business leaders prior to formality of HCM tool opening.
Continue to reinforce HR Operating Model; Matrox aligned HRBP is liaison between company business unit (i.e., Matrox) and COE (i.e., Rewards).

Prior to tool closing, audit pay recommendations against performance rating.
Provide feedback to Matrox aligned HRBPs to share with business leaders and allow time to capture any changes, as necessary.
Reinforce rewards delivery timeline and recommend proactive planning with Matrox aligned HRBP (i.e., create calendar reminders of payout dates and send invitations for employee rewards conversations).
Author and deliver supplementary annual rewards process education and training for Matrox people managers and aligned HRBPs; leveraging company compensation statements and facilitating employee rewards conversations.
Continue to reinforce HR Operating Model; Matrox aligned HRBP is liaison between company business units (i.e., Matrox) and COE (i.e., Rewards).
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Requirements: Bachelor s degree in human resources or related field or equivalent experience.
Work Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of compensation experience required.
Must have compensation background and strong Excel skills
High attention to detail and able to manage and maintain confidentiality.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
Ability to prioritize efficiently and manage competing priorities.
