Looking for a Landfill Operations Manager to lead our team in Roosevelt, WA. You will manage 10+ landfill staff, processing over 6000 tons daily. We need a strong leader to keep everything running efficiently in one of the largest landfills in the country.
Compensation of the Landfill Operations Manager:
- $120,000 – $130,000 per year + 20% annual bonus
- Full benefits, medical, dental, health, vision
- Retirement plan, 401k, plus 5% match
- Generous relocation package if required
Requirements of the Landfill Manager:
- 4-year degree in Business, Environmental Sciences, or Engineering
- Must have experience in Landfill Management
To succeed in this role, you need:
- Be hands-on/not afraid to get dirty
- Have success empowering and developing a team
- Approach work with a focus on safety and compliance
- Able to have tough conversations
- Have a strong business acumen (understand P&L, staying within a budget)
- History of proven short term and long-term planning

- Very remote location, generally a long commute to work
- Beautiful area of the country
- Lots of hiking, fishing, and other outdoor activities in the area
