Senior Manager – Finance transformation This role is responsible for managing all aspects of significant to moderately complex projects for a defined segment of strategic initiatives from project definition and intake to transition to full implementation and operational support. This role will support the Insurance practice area within one of the largest consulting firms in the world.

Identifying key priority growth areas for a company and recommend potential transformational initiatives that would result in margin improvement;
Drawing insights from a company’s commercial strategy across multiple other inputs
Having experience with banking and capital markets, asset and wealth management, insurance, and private equity;
Defining the total addressable market, growth forecasts, competition and interactions, and value exchanges of the industry / sector value chain for all segments;
Identifying key market trends and what investments are required to align with market trends and strategic priorities;
Leading diverse teams across multiple capabilities and competencies;
Leading and coaching subsector team through scoping, execution, and delivery of company analysis and recommendations (annual, quarterly, and ad-hoc updates);
Ensuring analysis and recommendations are complete, accurate, and actionable;
Embedding knowledge transfer and daily coaching in interactions with assigned team;
Ensuring best practices, methods, new data sources, tips & tricks are captured and catalogued centrally;
Developing and sustaining relationships with client teams on assigned companies;
Tracking, monitoring, and following up with client teams on feedback;
Participating in relevant client engagements, recognized as a subject matter specialist, and able to manage a team of analysts in delivering knowledge based deliverables;
Developing and presenting market making differentiated points of view;
Creating and contextualizing analytic modeling and monitoring of key sector drivers;
Generating forward-looking, client-centric analysis to drive strategic conversations and specific growth opportunities targeted to the client service team’s needs;
Managing daily activities around client support and risk mitigation on a product, deliverable and project basis, and the quality of delivered products by adhering to the unit’s quality review protocol;
Interacting with stakeholders and practice groups to develop new products and solutions; and,
Building a personal knowledge base through proactive industry research and analysis activities and efforts to build product deliverables either individually or with client service teams.
Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in the following areas:
Using business software, including Microsoft Office applications; analytic/visualization tools like Alteryx and Tableau, and basic financial analysis packages;
Leveraging comprehensive analytics methodologies and tools within a professional services environment;
Establishing personal networks relevant to the industry;
Exhibiting team commitment and the willingness to support the team in the attainment of organizational goals;
Guiding and developing others in the group and across the Insights Factory organization and the Firm who are new to the industry or subject matter;
Possessing written and verbal communication skills;
Possessing reporting and communicating implications of analysis with a focus on analytic quality and fusion, and;
Troubleshooting project issues with the broader Insights Factory team and elevating to leadership as appropriate.
