Infinite Reality has an immediate opening for a Senior Accountant. The position will be remotely based in the continental United States. The Senior Accountant position will be a key member of the Company’s accounting function and will have the opportunity to work in a challenging and engaging environment.
The Senior Accountant will be a part of a team that plays a critical role in supporting the achievement of financial and operational objectives across Infinite Reality companies by providing accurate financial statements. This role will play an integral part in the accounting function.
The Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparation of account reconciliations and journal entries in compliance with GAAP
- Complete month end, quarter end, and year end activities to include general journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Maintaining accrual schedules and completing general journal entries for accrued expense, prepaid expense, accrued revenue, and deferred revenue
- Provide support for annual financial statement audit
- Establish yourself as an integral member of the accounting team and contribute to accounting best practices following GAAP guidelines.
- Other ad hoc projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 2-3 years general ledger experience
- Quickbooks Online and MS Office experience a plus
- Exceptional communication skills with external customers
- A collaborative approach to working with other departments
- Professionalism and organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
