Accounting Clerk: Consolidate financial information to make it clear and understandable for all departments, responsible for assisting with both clerical and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist with research, filing data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records
- Prepare and review financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents
- Handle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity
- Learning how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company and clients
- Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations
- Answers phone calls, schedules meetings and supports visitors
- Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, scanning etc
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Previous QuickBooks experience
- Team player attitude
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
