Summary
The Chief Financial Officer will direct the organization’s financial planning, innovation initiatives, and technology investments and focus on operational efficiencies by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Leads multiple supervisors who are responsible for departments of their own. The CFO is responsible for the overall leadership, strategy, and development of those individuals and for carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Education And/or Experience
Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance along with MBA preferred; minimum of four years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred experience in project management, executive leadership, change management, thought leader.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from internal or external customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Mathematical Skills
Must possess advanced mathematic skills and the ability to analyze figures. Ability to work with financial and numeric data and possess mature and extensive knowledge of accounting principles.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to bring full resolution to issues with limited Manager involvement. Possess mature and experienced reasoning ability which maintains a high level of Manager confidence.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Agency Management systems; Spreadsheet software; Word Processing software; Internet software; Human Resource systems, and Database software. Strong Excel skills and experience with Power BI and other Power tools are a plus.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation and be able to obtain Accounting designations/certifications as set forth by the organization’s education plan.
