What We’re Searching for:
We are searching for an energic Staff Accountant for our Jamestown, North Carolina (Greensboro, NC) plant. Having duties and responsibilities within the Finance Department; the staff accountant is a key member of the team. You will contribute to all areas of general accounting functions. These functions include, but are not limited to journal entries, monthly closings, and divisional responsibilities. This position will report directly to the Assist Complex Controller.
How You Will Contribute:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax return
Accounting including forecasting, budget and month end close support for a standalone fulfillment site
Assist with other ancillary month end entries including management of IT prepaid expenses, commissions, and customer/supplier rebates.
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation for the division.
Help the plants analyze their results by preparing monthly efficiency reporting and key data reporting
Prepare fixed asset reports, book monthly depreciation, and maintain project tracking report for capital projects.
Prepare monthly PPV reports
What it Takes:
Associates degree required but bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting, Finance or Business

years’ experience working in a accounting role within the manufacturing field
Experience with Microsoft Excel (i.e. – spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, data manipulation/analysis and formulas creation etc.)
Travel as needed (Staff Accountant €“ Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
