As a Senior Finance Manager at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in providing strategic financial support to the business. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales, finance, working capital, and project installation/service. Leading and mentoring a team of commercial finance professionals, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and achieve business objectives.
In this role, you will analyze financial data to provide insights that drive business growth and profitability. You will develop and implement financial strategies to optimize revenue and minimize costs, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies. As a senior leader, you will also prepare financial reports and presentations for senior leadership, contributing to informed decision-making. You will report directly to our Senior Finance Manager BAP and you’ll work out of our Houston, Texas location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities
Lead quarterly HPS Monthly financial review and focus on driving Key Initiatives
Re-design Financial Package for HPS to allow a clear understanding of the financials on a monthly / quarterly and Yearly basis.
Consolidate Actuals / Forecast as per the business financial forecasting cycle.
Ensure alignment with BAP HQ to ensure timely BAP submissions.
Consolidate and understand the actuals vs. PY vs. PQ vs. Forecast by Line of Business
BL / Orders / Revenue / VCM / FC / OI
B/S with special focus on WC / FCF
Maintain the FP&A Calendar
Manage and coach 2 HC.
Help foster a positive work environment.
Lead and mentor a team of BAP finance professionals
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and achieve business objectives
Analyze financial data and provide insights to drive business growth and profitability
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior leadership

More than 15 years of experience in finance in large organizations w/ exposure to Corporate finance in particular FP&A
External audit / internal audit experience nice to have but not required
Comfortable working in a high speed environment
Experience supporting and creating financial reporting and leading reviews
Prior experience in a leadership or managerial role
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent knowledge of financial principles and practices
Proficiency in financial analysis software and MS Office
Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Dynamic and self-motivated individuals
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Innovative and eager to learn mindset
Curious individuals with a passion for continuous improvement
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
