FINANCE MANAGER
Join a team of manufacturing finance professionals as the Site Finance Leader over our Dayton fire protection garment manufacturing site and our Lincolnshire, IL gas detection equipment plant. You will play a part to support financial landscape, speed, quality and cost efficiency thru budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. You will play an important role in managing financial performance and implementing finance strategies to achieve committed business performance. You will support Honeywell manufacturing leaders and drive finance initiatives and decisions. You will also play important part to identify trends and developments in competitive environments and support the management outcome decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing performance metric reporting
Cost accounting (annual standard setting)
Forecasting of key manufacturing related financial data
Supporting monthly close process
Capital project evaluation
Repositioning and Transition support
Leading productivity/efficiency/utilization reviews
Direct and indirect labor planning
Support controllership activity (balance sheet reviews, internal audit support)
Site financial activities (costing, physical inventory, inventory management, fixed asset compliance)
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
6 years of accounting experience, including 3 years in manufacturing environment
ERP software knowledge
Three years of standard cost accounting experience
Understanding of manufacturing accounting processes

Strong problem solving & analytical skills
Understanding trends and projecting future outcomes
Wide breadth of knowledge across the finance function
Strong PC skills and experience with Microsoft products.
Knowledge of manufacturing activities (SIOP, mfg. variances, Kaizens, cycle counting)
Green Belt (lean manufacturing concepts)
SAP ERP experience (finance and controlling modules)
Analysis of capital investment projects
Understanding of accounting manufacturing processes
