Holtec Decommissioning International (HDI) is currently seeking a Finance Manager to join the Palisades Nuclear Power Plant team in Covert, MI.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Finance Manager is responsible for all elements of project financing, incorporating many facets of financial reporting and corporate accounting.

The ideal candidate’s responsibilities will include providing financial management, administration, leadership, and accounting oversight for financial results as well as the following :

• Reviewing financial reports, monitoring accounts and preparing financial forecasts to predict future financial trends.
• Establish accurate forecasts regarding expenses and revenues and manage regular reporting requirements.
• Producing financial reports related to budgets, accounts payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
• Analyze everyday financial activities and provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans.
• Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests
• Monitors financial details to ensure legal compliance.
• Fostering strong relationships with departments by establishing a customer service culture within the Finance Team
• Identifies issues and implements recommendations related to financial reporting and process improvement.
• Work as required to support other departments and assist with any other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED

The Finance Manager must be able to work independently and collaboratively as needed and maintain necessary skills and qualifications.

• B.S. Degree in Accounting, Finance, business administration or other related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
• Demonstrated strong math and advanced spreadsheet skills and analytical capabilities.
• Desired : Previous experience in project finance support and electric utility accounting is a plus.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Must be a self-starter, detailed oriented and be a team player to support the accounting function.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Proven track record of modeling and analytical experience
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• High degree of conscientiousness and attention to detail (preferably audit, due diligence, or similar background)
• Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills.
