We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to work in our Pittsfield, MA office. This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills. The candidate should have the ability to work independently and communicate with all levels of staff.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Manage the review and reconciliation of employee time cards
Transmit bi-weekly payroll for 500
employees for three separate non-profit organizations using ADP software
Maintain payroll records for bi-weekly, quarterly and year end reporting
Prepare bi-weekly payroll reports for distribution to management
Assist with tracking / processing of various leave programs (FMLA, MA PFMLA etc.)
Process W2’s and all year-end Federal and State reporting
Ensure accurate and timely data entry and processing of all payroll transactions
Serves as the point of contact for all employee payroll related questions / concerns.
Resolve payroll discrepancies
Provide support for annual financial and retirement plan audits
Perform other duties as required
Education and Requirements:
3 €“ 5 years payroll related experience, preferably recent experience with ADP and E-Time
Payroll processing experience with a non-profit organization preferred
Associates Degree in Accounting or Business required, or a high school diploma with at least two years of payroll experience will be considered
Bachelor’s degree or Certified payroll Professional (CPP) a plus
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
Excellent analytical, organization and time management skills
Willingness to take on new responsibilities as needed
Ability to communicate and interact with all levels of the organization
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information
