Senior Director of Finance – FP&A

This professional leads the team that generates forecasts and analyze trends in SG&A, workforce, product line profitability, and other areas of business. Other areas include: researches economic progressions to assist with the organization’s financial planning; Presents findings and recommendations to management; Responsibility for budget planning and analysis.
Primary Responsibilities:
o Develops and maintains financial reports to clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, and variances to plan, forecast and budget
o Understands and incorporates industry specific metrics into reports to highlight relevant trends and support fact-based business decisions
o Provide financial SG&A leadership in the development of the Annual Plan and Quarterly Forecasting to budget owners / finance liaisons
o Analyze SG&A to deliver key insights to executive management
o Oversee/lead workforce budgeting and forecasting on an enterprise level, while partnering with leadership teams to develop a full understanding of their strategic priorities, resource and workforce needs
o Lead annual budget training sessions and monthly SG&A review sessions with department and market leaders
o Perform enterprise-wide SG&A ad-hoc analysis
o Review/sign-off on load of the annual Consolidated SG&A budget into PeopleSoft
o Review monthly, quarterly and annual financial data models to include but not limited to monthly actuals, forecast models and budget files
o Develop or recommend solutions for problems or situations directly related to SG&A
Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance
o 5+ years of relevant finance experience
o Minimum 3 years of management/leadership experience
o Strong research and analysis skills
o Strong attention to details and effective multi-tasking
o Excellent communication and presentation skills – the ability to understand and interpret complex data easily to leadership
o Strong experience with Microsoft Excel
o Hyperion PeopleSoft and SmartView/Essbase experience a plus
o SaaS experience a plus
o Strong communication skills – to relay financial findings in a clear and concise manner
o Ability to work in a high pace environment with tight financial deadlines
