Health Recovery Solutions (HRS) is a leading provider of Remote Patient Monitoring and Telehealth Solutions. HRS has been rapidly growing and is seeking to hire a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to enable the company to scale more effectively and efficiently. The CFO will be a critical member of the senior leadership team and a business partner to the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors. This role will be responsible for all financial and accounting functions and developing appropriate metrics and KPIs.
The CFO will embody HRS’ mission-orientated culture, values and have a strong vision for technology, and a penchant for action and innovation. He/she will be a builder of processes and procedures that deliver operational excellence. The ideal leader will have integrated healthcare solution experience – software, hardware, services and has driven innovation and enabled rapid growth. The customer set includes providers, patients, caregivers, and payers/business/value-based care executives.
Specific responsibilities include:
· Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and Board of Directors, contributing to the company’s overall direction and expansion.
· Enhance operational efficiencies with the implementation of best-in-class systems, technology, and talent to support a high growth business.
· Develop financial plans, budgets and forecast in line with the company’s objectives and growth trajectory.
· Produce forward looking, predictive models to provide insight into the organization’s operations and business plans and proactively monitor and report progress.
· Facilitate collaboration between sales, marketing, product, and finance teams.
· Manage annual outside audit process.
· Actively manage the company’s banking relationships and contractual activities.
· Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions.
· Effectively recruit, develop, manage, motivate, and retain a high-quality finance organization.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration. MBA or CPA preferred.
· Experience in a digital health business is required, and having worked with a business with hardware and software product components is preferred.
· Experience collaborating with and presenting to PE or VC owners and a Board of Directors.
· Prior success upgrading the quality of an organization’s financial infrastructure by improving reporting, budgeting, cost controls and auditing systems.
· Roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and desire to “get hands dirty.”
· Ability to work in a lean environment without a robust team of resources.
· Must possess a strong operational understanding of a fast-growing business.
· Experience scaling a technology business from $20-70m.
· Proven experience guiding a company through a successful private equity or venture capital exit preferred.
