Key Responsibility Areas
This is a multifaceted position responsible for financing for all of HMG.
Offering vehicle and vessel financing and insurance to customers and providing them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties.
Seeking new lending institutions and maintaining good working relationships to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs.
Processing financial deals accurately and securing approval through financial sources to secure approval and through the proper federal, state and corporate channels.
Understanding and complying with federal, state and local regulations that affect the new and used boats and finance departments.
Creating and maintaining a program with the sales department that will ensure all new sales are referred to the F & I Department.
Major Duties
Financial
Seeking new lending institutions and maintaining good working relationships to secure competitive interest rates and financial programs.
Prepares and enters all documentation for final delivery, i.e., finance contracts, extended warranty, titles, and insurance forms.
Contact any clients for additional information for finance companies.
Processing financing accurately and securing approval through financial sources to secure approval.
Prepares month-end sales reports for extended warranties and insurance.
Meets with customers taking delivery for finalization and signing of appropriate documents.
Understanding and complying with federal, state, and local regulations that affect the financing department.
Handles all collections; i.e. bounced checks pertaining to the sales department.
Maximizes gross profit margins to achieve or exceed quotas.
Leadership
Training and providing the sales team with information on finance programs and the benefits of the dealership’s financing and extended service programs.
Team building and promoting inter-departmental relationships.
Administration, Sales & Customer Service
Offering boat financing and insurance to customers and providing them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties and a complete explanation of manufacturer and HMG service procedures and policies.
Creating and maintaining a program with the sales department that will ensure all new sales are referred to the F&I department.
Monitors sales against forecast on a year-to-date and prior year basis.
Manage Title Clerk/F&I Assistant position.
Performs other related duties as required.
Schedule Requirements and Physical Demands:
Able to work an average of 50 hours per week.
Able to work a variety of shifts, which include weekends, nights, days, and holidays.
Able to walk and stand on your feet 8 to 10 hours at a time.
Able to walk on tile, carpet, and up and downstairs.
