This position will be based in Atlanta, GA with the expectation to work from our office a few days out of the week.
Key Responsibilities:
– Invoice various HFHI programs and other non HFHI entities.
– Prepare monthly and one time ACH payment for HFHI programs and non HFHI entities.
– Work with program staff to resolve billing issues, process sales credit when needed.
– Reconcile the account receivable ledgers to ensure all invoices and payments are posted correctly.
– Provide finance support for our Global Village Department.
– Analyze issues and resolves independently or escalates issues to supervisor when needed.
Key Requirements:
– Pursuant to current HFHI policy, this position requires full vaccination against COVID-19, except to the extent such requirement is prohibited by applicable law.
– Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
– 2 years of working experience and/or working knowledge of accounts receivable standards and procedures.
– Experience working in web based accounting software.
– Team player with strong communications and interpersonal skills.
– Advanced knowledge of MS Office application (Excel, Outlook, Work).
– Ability to respond appropriately to questions/concerns in regards to HFHI accounting processes and procedures. Working knowledge of accounting system and sub-ledgers.
– Must also have accounting knowledge, banking system knowledge, analytical ability, good written and oral communication skills, ability to handle large number of transactions, attention to details, ability to handle confidential information, ability to meet multiple deadlines.

– Working knowledge of advanced accounting, familiar with FASB pronouncements and US GAAP.
