Job Summary:
Reporting directly to the President the VP of Finance has the opportunity to join GTI, at a critical point in the company’s growth trajectory. The role is highly visible and partners with leadership at all levels.
The VP of Finance will be responsible for forecasting, budgeting, financial, and scenario planning through the development of decision frameworks and methodologies. Candidates will have experience evaluating business economics for recommendation and a track record of well-informed judgment around technical and business investment opportunities. The VP of Finance will support the management and execution of finance-focused process improvement projects.

Duties and Responsibilities
· FINANCIAL REPORTING AND AUDITING: responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of the overall financial transactions of the company within the requirements of GAAP and other regulatory bodies, to communicate an accurate and complete understanding of the company’s past, present, and future financial conditions to decision-makers.
· FINANCIAL BUDGETING, ANALYSIS, AND PROJECTIONS: responsible for developing and maintaining budgets and reporting on deviations between actual and budgeted performance in a timely manner in order to positively influence future results.
· CONTROLLING AND COMPLIANCE: responsible for the compliance of corporate policies and procedures, audits, identifying control weaknesses and implementing policies, payroll controls, developing standard cost models and SKU profitability reports, labor efficiency reporting, and monitoring GL transactions and end to end controls.
· ASSET/LIABILITY/EQUITY ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT: responsible for identifying, protecting, and maximizing the safety, accuracy, and productivity of the Company’s important financial accounts including financial obligations, debt, fixed assets, AP, borrowing, and maintaining and enhancing the Company’s credit rating.
· PROJECT OPPORTUNITY ANALYSIS: responsible for identifying and recommending projects and opportunities to decision-makers, as well as providing financial expertise and analysis concerning new financial opportunities on an as needed basis in order to enhance effective and efficient financial decision-making. Project opportunities may include revenue enhancements, cost reductions, and operating efficiencies providing the President and operating groups with related financial analysis and expertise.
· STAFF SUPERVISION: responsible for leading current staff, and when/if necessary identifying, hiring, and improving staff to achieve company goals and objectives within budget.
· POSITION’S OTHER DUTIES: responsible for performing other appropriate and reasonably required duties as assigned.
