Position Overview:
The US Finance Manager will support the financial forecasting & analysis responsibilities for the US Commercial BioPharma Division. This individual will assist with management of over $3B in revenue and $300M in operating expenses consisting of forecasting/budgeting, monthly reporting/analysis, price modeling, and various projects related to supporting the Commercial business. This individual must build strong relationships with multiple functional areas and utilize data to provide business recommendations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
? Consolidate, analyze and report monthly US sales & operating expenses, highlighting current variances and potential risks/opportunities.
? Establish and implement work plans/ timeline for budget and forecast development consistent with Corporate and US planning calendars or individual project management expectations.
? Update monthly sales forecasts & all Budget/Forecast scenarios, including price models
? Prepare variance reports – highlighting key drivers, actuals compared to budget and to forecast updates (sales, pricing & operating expenses).
? Review monthly accruals, journal entries and intercompany billings.
? Prepare monthly detailed financial reports and present to US leadership
? Mentor and manage a team of financial analysts.
? Assist internal, external and Tax Auditors with review and compliance requests.
? Provide support for special projects and ad hoc requests.

? Requires a B.S. or a B.B.A. degree with a major in Accounting or Finance
? 8-10 years’ experience in an Accounting or Finance related position
? Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite required
? Strong knowledge of Excel including pivot table and functions (vlookup, sumif, etc.)
? Experience with SAP is desired
? Experience in financial analysis and accounting is preferred
? Expertise in financial processes and executive reporting/ presentation skills
? Ability to learn quickly and apply superior analytical, interpersonal and communication skills to consistently produce excellent work and add value to the organization
Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Frequently sits for 6-8 hours per day. Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. Occasionally walks. Occasionally bends and twists neck. Light to moderate lifting and carrying objects with a maximum lift of 25lbs. Frequently drives to site locations with occasional travel within the United States.
