Job Summary:
The Finance Manager is responsible for working collaboratively with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on financial matters for Greater Opportunities for Broome and Chenango, Inc. The Finance Manager will report and work closely with CFO, Senior Administration, and the Board of Directors to develop and implement strategies across the organization. The Finance Manager will assist in the compliance and recognition for government (Federal and State) contracts and private grants. S/he must be able to adapt to a continually evolving environment and thrive in an autonomous and deadline-oriented workplace. Assist the CFO in organization’s financial planning and accounting practices as well as its relationships with lending institutions, board members, and the financial community by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor degree in accounting from an accredited college or university. Master’s degree in an accredited college or university and/or CPA preferred. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in non-profit and fund accounting preferred. Valid Driver’s license
Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises Fiscal staff in the absence of the CFO
