In this position, you will guide and support a seasoned team of risk control representatives while also partnering with our current and potential insureds to develop strategies to mitigate risk. Additionally, you will work with leadership and underwriting team to acquire and retain profitable accounts by evaluating risk and exposures.
Join our distinguished risk control team as a Risk Control Supervisor in any of our five locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coach, mentor, and develop a team of risk control representatives
Assure quality work standards for a team of six to eight risk control representatives
Complete monthly file audits and provide feedback to representatives
Assist representatives with on-site surveys of motor carrier operations
Write reports regarding findings of surveys, and design loss-prevention programs based on those findings
We are looking for candidates who have:
A bachelor’s degree preferred.
Previous supervisory, leadership, or management experience with an emphasis on coaching, development, and training.
Minimum of 7 years in a professional level risk management, loss control, or safety position, preferably with commercial fleet experience or insurance risk control experience.
Solid risk management, customer service, and communication skills.
