Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
14 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or 12 years of experience with a relevant advanced degree.
Experience in team building and development.
Preferred qualifications:
14 years of experience in FP&A with significant experience partnering with Research and Development teams.
Experience in the Software as a Service (SAAS) industry.
Experience working in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment with competing deadlines.
Experience in people management and the ability to scale future leaders in this growing organization.
Understanding of Google’s Cloud products.
Ability to partner with executive stakeholders to define analysis requirements and priorities, develop and execute strategy, and balance short versus long-term deliverables.

In this role, you will be leading the Product Finance team for Google’s Workspace Business and will help manage a product portfolio used by many Google Cloud customers and many consumers across the globe. You will be a well-rounded executive finance professional who can excel at partnering with executive engineering and product leadership and who can build partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders across Google Cloud and Google.

And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.
Responsibilities
Be the strategic finance partner to the Engineering, Product, and Security organizations, drive predictability, identify efficiencies, and lead through the phase of growth.
Partner directly with the Workspace Vice Presidents and General Managers, Engineering and Product Vice Presidents and will take care of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) responsibilities. Manage core FP&A responsibilities (e.g., monthly close, monthly profit and loss, quarterly earnings diligence, annual operating plans, and long-range plans).
Improve financial processes and implementation system improvements that will scale. Lead Workspace pricing and bring financial/business acumen to product slotting/pricing/discounting decisions.
Partner with Engineering teams and Finance teams to help manage capacity spending and drive efficiency improvements that will result in long-term improvement in cloud capex spending.
Build relationships with partners across Cloud and Google in functions including Finance, Accounting, Product, Sales & Marketing.
